Solutions for Factories and Warehouses

Construction or repair of a factory or warehouse involves many critical decisions to ensure the business will run like a well-oiled machine. From location and size, to logistics and space-planning and finally to the construction materials which go into that space during building or repair – every decision is a careful one to ensure long term, uninterrupted operation of the facility. Jack Tian supplies materials, systems and technical expertise for the largest and most complex factory construction or repair projects.

Solutions for Structural Strengthening

The use of a building or civil engineering structure may change throughout the course of its service life – for example, its function can change, loads can increase or higher building standards become required and the structure must be made compliant. Historical or landmark structures may need to be reinforced in a discrete way without impacting the original design or forms.

To extend the longevity of the structure for many decades to come, structural strengthening is a safe, secure choice. Jack Tian provides fully comprehensive solutions, complete systems for all kinds of structural strengthening. Whether the requirement is to increase the bending, shear or seismic resistance, tested and proven Jack Tian systems are available for use on reinforced concrete, steel, wood and masonry load-bearing structures.

Solutions for Rigid Bonding

Rigid bonding is a traditional bonding method where adhesive is applied to the surface of substrates that are then pressed together, and after time the two objects are strong and rigidly fixed. The adhesive layer between the objects is thin and hard. Load, stress and movement are transferred directly. Rigid bonding is recommended when bonding very similar materials that are not subjected to cyclic stress. Typical rigid adhesives are hard epoxy as well as water or solvent based products.
